Bill Gunderson is a fee-based financial advisor, portfolio manager and creator of the Best Stocks Now! app. He is also the president of Gunderson Capital Management, headquartered in Mount Pleasant, SC. Gunderson Capital Management, manages over $200 million in portfolio assets for clients across the country.

As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, CFP®, Barry provides our clients with trusted advice based on sound financial principles and analysis. With 20+ years of experience, Barry has managed $100M+ in client assets and has advised on $75M+ in acquisitions/divestitures of client owned businesses.
Barry takes a comprehensive approach to portfolio construction and financial planning, by integrating each aspect of a client’s financial picture into his overall analysis. Barry develops an extensive financial road-map by reviewing his client’s investment assets, outstanding liabilities, future cash flow requirements, employee benefits, insurance needs, education goals, and future windfalls. He is willing to work closely with his client’s other professional advisors in order to coordinate portfolio selection, income tax, and estate planning needs. Barry believes this “holistic” approach paints a realistic financial picture for clients and gives them the confidence that comes with preparing for the inherent risks of the future.
Barry attended Florida State University where he graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s in Finance. He is a member of the CFA Institute and serves as a member of the board/investment committee for United Methodist Church Foundation Investment Management. As a member and mentor at the Entrepreneur Center of Nashville, Barry helped develop funding strategies for businesses in the early stages of development.
Jennifer Greene
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER & CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Jennifer joined Gunderson Capital Management in June of 2022, as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. She has been in the financial industry for over 20 years. She began her career at a large bank in the Personal Trust Department and then moved to Endowment & Foundation Trust Services.
After four years with the bank, Jennifer was recruited by a large Registered Investment Advisory firm, where she served as a Portfolio Administrator, Director of Operations, and Chief Compliance Officer. After spending 18 years at the firm, she joined our team at Gunderson Capital.
In her spare time, Jennifer loves being with her family, which includes her husband of 25 years, her two sons, and three grandchildren. She enjoys taking the family on camping trips to the mountains and annual beach vacations.
Edye Kates
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Edye joined Gunderson Capital Management in 2018, bringing more than two decades of experience in client engagement and professional services.
As Business Development Manager, Edye serves as a key connection between prospective clients and the firm. She plays a central role in driving growth through meaningful advisor-prospect engagement and travel-based roadshow initiatives, including local workshops and in-person meetings.
Edye holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University and brings early career experience in marketing and advertising. In addition, she is co-owner of a mobile outdoor advertising business that she helped grow for more than 25 years.
Edye and her husband, Jeff, reside in Scottsdale, AZ and are proud parents of three children. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, yoga, pickleball, and enjoying time with family and friends.
Ed Daher
CUSTOMER SERVICE, VIDEO TECHNICIAN/EDITOR
As Gunderson Capital’s Customer Service Representative, Ed facilitates a great customer experience. He manages subscriptions and makes sure that all of our clients and subscribers receive the newsletter. Ed is also our audio and video technician. He has been with Gunderson Capital since 2012.
Ed received a degree in Graphic Arts and Web Design from Cal State San Marcos University. He has been a California-licensed C35 contractor since 1976, and a member of the CREIA (California Real Estate Inspection Association) since 1997.
Ed loves classic cars. He is a member of a car club that raises funds and volunteers in providing meals to military families. He lives in California with his wife, Candice.
